5 steps to completely complicate your life
Life is complicated and it gets more and more complicated … or it is simple and it is increasingly simplified! The important thing is that you choose to complicate it instead of making it more complicated than it has to be because happiness is simple .So get to work! Start living calmer by breaking your life to the fullest with these 5 steps :
1. Do only one thing at a time
When you are paying attention to many things at the same time, you become blurred. When you are not focused on something, your life begins to get complicated. Do you remember when you were at school or university and all you had to do was the study? Do you remember how simple your life was back then?
Focus. Be clear about the goals of the day, the week, the year, and your life. Ask yourself what you want / should do, what is the highest priority, how is the best way to do it and who can help you do better or faster. Then start!
2. Get rid of the things you don’t use
Today we have acquired two habits that do not go well together: buying new pieces according to the advance of fashion and consumer trends (“How could I not buy it when I had a 50% discount ?!”), and do not give, sell or donate what we no longer use. On the contrary, every time we buy and accumulate more.
But really, how many of these things do you use? Not many, right? So I invite you to analyze the space where you live and spend your time. Ask yourself: Of the things you have, how many do you really need? How many of them do you use And what is the use of having something you don’t use and don’t need?
The golden rule to eliminate the unnecessary in your life is “If you don’t use it, you don’t need it, and if you don’t need it, why have it?”
Look at your space and ask yourself, have I used this in the past year? If you haven’t already, consider giving it away, donating it, or selling it.

3. Don’t make movies on your mind
Have you ever thought that you have a problem, imagining how serious it is, worrying more and more, thinking about it until you get tired, losing hours of sleep, feeling stressed and stressed, and then realizing that you never had the problem in the first place? place? Have you ever stopped to think about all the time and well-being you lost wasting yourself with that problem that did not exist?
Many times we imagine that we have problems that do not really exist: problems with your partner, problems at work, health problems, misunderstandings with close people, etc. Thinking that we have a problem leads us to worry – which is the fastest way to start losing our peace of mind and well-being.
But that doesn’t have to be the case!
As the Toltecs taught us in their 4 agreements, “Don’t suppose.” Don’t start making videos and movies in your mind; communicate. If you have a question, ask. If you think there is a problem, please confirm it. If you want to know something, ask. If you don’t know what your partner thinks about something, ask him. If you feel overwhelmed by something, talk about it.
If you communicate, you will eliminate non-existent problems from your life, reduce conflicts and misunderstandings, stop wasting your time and energy on things that do not add value to you and you will vanish the bad energy of your life.
4. Let go of the past
Don’t bring the pains and difficulties of the past into the present when you can choose to let them go. Forgive those who misbehaved and send them love. Let go of difficulties, frustrations, hurtful memories, and send light and healing. Then stop thinking about it and bring yourself back to the present moment.
If you catch yourself thinking about the past, take a deep breath inflating your belly. Do it for a couple of minutes and focus completely on your breathing: how long it takes you to inhale, how long it takes you to exhale, how your stomach inflates when you inhale, how it contracts when you exhale, how your body oxygenates and quiets your mind. Then, resume what you were doing, starting with the highest priority.
The past does not exist unless you bring it to your consciousness, so choose not to!
5. Get better organized
Success is 90% organization. Hence the importance of being organized if we want to go far in life.
We all have many things to do, but how well we do them depends to a great extent on how orderly we are: that we are clear about exactly what to do, the priority, how is the most productive way to do it and that we are not distracted once we start moving forward.
You always have the power to choose how to feel, no matter what happens. That means that your life will be as complicated as you make it . Choose simplicity over complications and you will see how joyful your days will be from now on!
